The therapy is performed with the client fully dressed and is so pleasant that people tend to fall asleep during the session.

Dr. John Upledger was the founder of this gentle and very effective treatment system, which over the past several decades has gained tremendous popularity.

Based on spine and physiology, exact application of the practitioner’s hands in strategic anatomical locations facilitates the flow of cerebrospinal fluid inside the brain, the skull and the spine, and relieves tension in the fascial system. (Fascia are the touch tissue that surrounds muscles and organs, holding everything into place).

CranioSacral Therapy is also very effective at releasing any physical inhibition on the vagus nerve and is therefore known to increase parasympathetic activity, so that peace and calm can been established within both body and mind.

One session can be very helpful, but several sessions are generally recommended for more complex issues.
